We manufacture our lifts ourselves in Lachen SZ. Our own control system and the car lifts are manufactured in Wangen SZ.
In order to achieve greater production depth, we launched the DI06 with our first own circuit boards. This has greater stability and configurability in order to keep the lift running optimally.
In 2013, we relocated our headquarters to Lachen SZ and moved into a state-of-the-art production facility in order to increase our quality and efficiency and modernise our working methods.
In May 2012, we took over the Swiss Lift plant (control construction) in Kleinandelfingen ZH, which produces for Diethelm lifts as well as for export.
This enabled us to start producing our own control systems and develop them further.
In 2009, the first laser system was installed by Trumpf with the aim of replacing the plasma system so that the parts could be cut to a high quality.
The first patent was applied for in 2006. This gave us the opportunity to make the shaft narrower, which was also designed without a machine room. Another effect of this was to reduce the noise of the lift to a minimum.
In 1999, the opportunity arose to buy a factory in Vorderthal/SZ, which offered us the chance to start producing lifts. This was gradually optimised and expanded.

As a second pillar, various service contracts for existing lifts were added to our business model in 1994, which had previously been limited to installation.
In 1990, Hansruedi Diethelm founded the lift company Diethelm Aufzüge AG in Vorderthal, which has been purposefully active in lift construction from the very beginning. In the early years, we installed lifts from various manufacturers.
